“AMD is very proud to offer both AMD Ryzen 7 1800X processor and Radeon Pro Duo Graphics in the new NextComputing Edge T100 Ryzen-based workstation,” said John C. Morris General Manager Workstation Compute Business Unit, AMD.  “NextComputing and AMD offer an unsurpassed platform combination that will provide creative professionals with a powerful, feature rich, and reliable solution, enabling out-of-the-box creativity and adapting easily to evolving complex development needs.”

The AMD Ryzen 7 1800x processor has beat out the Intel Core i7 6900k processor in multiple benchmark tests when used for applications in content creation, video encoding and encryption.  The processor has earned the title of world’s fastest 8 core processor as a result.  AMD describes the processor as the pinnacle of desktop processing power. With 8 CPU cores, 16 threads and a Max Turbo Core speed of 4 GHz, it’s hard to argue the point.

The Edge T100 also accommodates popular graphics cards Radeon Pro WX 7100 and 5100.  The workstation optimizes high performance broadcast applications like Adobe® Premiere + After Effects, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, Assimilate SCRATCH VR, MAXON Cinema 4D, and The Foundry Nuke.

NextComputing also presents the Edge P100, an AIO workstation with an integrated 17” HD screen for ultimate portability and easy viewing.  The system incorporates Ryzen 7 8100x, 7100x, and 7100 processors as well as one Radeon Pro WX 7100 card.
